Fly Like Quidditch

And my heart is hurting.

She drove down here to play quidditch, and she didn’t even get to play. 13 hours she drove, and mother nature had to crap on all of that. It’s just so annoying to see the dedication that people have to this sport and to their friends and to just have it go out the window. ugh.

The weekend wasn’t a complete waste though. I actually got to bond with her and I feel like we have a pretty good friendship now. We talked about our pasts and where we are now in life. We talked about George and their relationship and how she is dealing with him being on his mission. It was just really nice to have a heart-to-heart with someone.

Speaking of George. Sigh. Lillian and him have one of the most adorable relationships ever. I have honestly seen most of it through her perspective, but I am 100% sure he feels exactly the same as she does. I could just see it in her face and her body language when she talked about him. She is just head over heels in love with that kid. She would get this look in her eye and just get flustered and couldn’t speak. And when she told me about how they ended up dating, I am surprised I didn’t cry from the adorableness. They’ve got something special. I want that one day.

I really think I made a great friend this weekend. If and when you read this Sly, please know that I am so, so happy that you came down. And I’m so sorry that you couldn’t play. See you in three weeks!
